Guten Tag!  大家好！My name is Barbara Kauderer. I am a native German speaker. I have a Master in Chinese Studies, English and Linguistics from Ludwig Maximilians-University in Munich. Before I moved to the United States I worked as a secretary for DASA  (German Aviation and Space Agency) near Munich, and as a language teacher for SDI in Munich. After moving to the United States, I first worked as a Chinese language teacher for Huaxia Chinese School in Parsippany. In 2006, I started my career as a Public School Teacher for Chinese and German.

Being a native German and having traveled to China extensively, I like to bring authentic culture into my classroom. In the past years at Lenape I also had the opportunity to organize three trips to China, and bring one group of students to Germany for a 3-week exchange.
