This course is the third year in a sequential study of German at the college preparatory level. German III is a standards-based German program that integrates communication, grammar, and culture. This balanced approach is built upon the principles of backward design with assessment aligned with instruction. The many tools for differentiated instruction support success for all learners. 

The content of German 3 includes, but is not limited to the following:

1. Talking about countries, continents, traffic, cooking and recipes in German

2. Comprehension of spoken and written German with an emphasis on traditional German folktales

3. Expressing various moods, describing sights and experiences on a trip, and discussing various aspects of “neighbors”

4. Retelling stories
